Choose a starting configuration

OS
Ubuntu 24.04, amd64.
Resources
Start with 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe. This full-stack template requires at least 8 GB; resize for documents, plugins and concurrent workflows.
Access
Use an SSH tunnel to localhost:3080. Configure a domain and HTTPS before public access.
Costs
VPS, domains and model-provider fees are separate. No API credits are included. Keep Dify branding and follow its license; shared multi-tenant managed hosting has additional conditions.

Set up your application

  1. Choose this application, Latest, Ubuntu 24.04, and a plan with at least 8 GB RAM.
  2. Wait for first-boot installation. Connect by SSH and read the server access guide.
  3. Open the SSH tunnel and create the first workspace administrator in the browser. There is no preset login password.
  4. Configure your model provider and test a workflow. Review API keys and permissions; add domain, HTTPS and email before inviting users publicly.

Questions about this VPS

  • First installation resolves the newest official stable release and records its source and exact service images. Restarting retains versions, secrets and data. Back up the full installation and review upstream migrations before upgrading.
  • The Dify core stack is installed, but model keys and accounts are not included. Add your own provider to use LLM nodes. Remote models do not require a GPU on this VPS. Workflows using only inputs and templates can run without an LLM.
  • Restarts retain the installed version and data. Back up configuration, credentials, and persistent data before manual upgrades. A restart does not upgrade the application.
