Install EasyPanel on Your Ubuntu VPS
- Create a fresh Ubuntu VPS. Choose at least 2 GB RAM. Use a larger plan when you will build applications or host a database on the same server.
- Connect as root and install EasyPanel. Follow the official installer on the clean server. Keep ports 80 and 443 available for the panel's web proxy.
- Create your administrator account and first project. Open the address returned by the installer, add an application source and any persistent storage, then deploy and connect your domain.
Before going live, check your application's environment variables, persistent storage, and domain settings, then verify that the service is reachable over HTTPS.

- An EasyPanel VPS is a virtual server running the EasyPanel application control panel. It brings application deployments, databases, domains, and container logs into a browser dashboard. LightNode supplies the VPS infrastructure; you install and manage EasyPanel on the server.
- This page uses the Ubuntu VPS setup path. Create a fresh Ubuntu server, connect as root, and follow the official EasyPanel installer. The installer sets up Docker when needed. Do not install it over an existing hosting panel that already uses ports 80 or 443.
- The official installation guide requires at least 2 GB RAM on a fresh Ubuntu server. The entry plan meets that memory minimum. We suggest 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM for a small application plus a database, then size up according to build memory, concurrent traffic, and storage needs. This is a starting recommendation, not a capacity guarantee.
- The prices on this page cover the LightNode VPS. EasyPanel offers a free plan and separate paid licenses. Features such as database backups, additional projects, and team access depend on the EasyPanel plan. Paid panel licenses are not included in the VPS price.
- Yes. EasyPanel App services support source repositories, Dockerfiles, and prebuilt Docker images. GitHub sources can use auto deploy after a push. You can also connect other Git repositories and configure deployment triggers for your workflow.
