Set up your application
- In the application selector, choose this application, Latest, Ubuntu 24.04 and at least 4 GB RAM.
- Wait for installation, connect by SSH and read the access guide.
- Forward port 5678 over SSH and create the first owner. Configure Settings > n8n Assistant with your model and Daytona credentials when needed.
- Start with a small workflow, review external data handling and provider budgets, then protect access and back up n8n data.
Questions about this VPS
- First installation uses n8n's official latest image and a matching runner version. The remote sandbox image uses its configured latest channel. Restarts retain the installed n8n version; upgrades are deliberate.
- No. Supply model and Daytona accounts, credentials and usage fees. Their processing can occur outside the VPS. Review n8n's Sustainable Use License; selling managed access may require a commercial agreement.
- Restarts retain the installed image and configuration. Back up credentials and persistent data before upgrading manually. Review upstream instructions; restarts do not update the image.
