Tools for your own server
Check your HTTP services and keep their monitoring history.
HTTP service checks
Add HTTP or HTTPS endpoints and inspect their response history. Monitoring intervals and the number of checks affect the resources your server needs.
Your status pages
Organize monitored services into status pages. Configure suitable access and HTTPS before sharing a page publicly; the initial interface is reached privately through SSH.
Persistent monitoring data
Keep monitor settings and history in local persistent storage. Protect that data with backups and configure notification credentials only for providers you choose.

Cloud Servers Launched
Choose a starting configuration
- OS
- Ubuntu 24.04, amd64.
- Resources
- Start with 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe. The 4 GB template floor is not a universal software minimum; increase capacity for heavier work.
- Access
- Use SSH forwarding to reach localhost:3001. Create the first administrator immediately.
- Costs
- Uptime Kuma uses MIT. VPS billing and paid notification providers are separate.
Set up your application
- In the application selector, choose this application, Latest, Ubuntu 24.04 and at least 4 GB RAM.
- Wait for installation, connect by SSH and read the access guide.
- Forward local port 3001 over SSH, open the dashboard and create your administrator. There is no preset administrator password.
- Add a small set of HTTP monitors, configure notification destinations, and review your backup and access settings.
Questions about this VPS
- The first installation resolves the newest official stable GitHub release, rather than relying on Docker's older literal latest tag. Later restarts retain the installed image and database.
- You create the first administrator yourself through the private connection. No default password or notification account is supplied. Uptime Kuma is MIT-licensed; selected notification providers may charge separately.
- Restarts retain the installed image and configuration. Back up credentials and persistent data before upgrading manually. Review upstream instructions; restarts do not update the image.
